Grandpa Joseph (Giusseppe) Falcone came to America thru Ellis Island about 1903. His original purpose was to work for a few years in America and then return to Italy with the money he saved and buy a piece of land in Italy and grow some grapes.
Well, he had a train accident and lost his leg between the hip and knee. Penna RR gave him a job for life as a RR crossing guard. Then he returned to Italy to get his first wife and daughter, Mary. Then he returned to America thru Ellis Island.
Then his first wife died in 1918. Once again he returned to Italy to marry his second wife. And return to America.

I like hearing stories about our relatives, and looking forward to meeting and talking to him in person. Isn't the resurrection hope a happy one?
