Thought for Today: A false statement may be expressed magnificently, a true statement may be uttered badly: however, it does not change the fact that a false statement expressed magnificently is still false,and a true statement uttered badly is still true. Ronald Lax

you and dad always taught us to be honest. i try hard to teach my kids the same and i greatly value this characteristic in others.

it's frustrating to see those, especially in government - try to so eloquently say things that are a flat out like, but repeat it so often that they themselves and others start believing it to be true.

Yep, the news media and politcians are professionals at making false statements, sound good. And twisting true statements.
People "hear" what they WAnt to hear.
