Reading the Sermon on the Mount from your own Bible is the best way to start the year! Yes, Jesus encouraged us to Put God's kingdom and it's righteousness first in our lives. Then all our necessary things will be provided. What a grand promise. What really is God's Kingdom? The prophet Daniel received a vision and it was clear that God's Kingdom is a real government, not governed by humans, but God installed his Son as King of his kingdom. Daniel 2:44; 7:13,14. Do you feel Daniel's prophecy is relevant to our day? Dan 12:9,12
Yes, thank you for this post regarding Jesus' words on the sermon on the mount, if we apply these saying in our every day life we will be certain to grow spiritually to the benefit of ourselves and those around us.
