Victoria broke her collarbone during a basketball game this week. She plays for Gilbert H.S. Gilbert won the tournament.
There were 20 schools from three states. Gilbert won the championship game in overtime.
Gilbert is rated number 1 in State of Arizona. They are undefeated.
She broke her collarbone in a collision with another girl.
The doctor operated on her broken bone and put 6 screws to put it back together.
She will need from 6 to 12 weeks to recover.

ok, she must be on some pretty heavy duty pain killers to be smiling like that after surgery and screws...oouuchhh.

that's awesome her team is doing so well. But too bad she broke her collarbon. Ouch!
I'm thinking like Pedaling, she must be on some pain killers in this picture. How glad we are that her injuries were not worse, even tho' that sounds like a long ordeal she must have to endure. Hope Victoria feels better in the year ahead. Send my love to her.
